The food options were impressive, and even though there was a mix-up in the kitchen, the final correct order was fantastic. the generous portions and delicious taste of the food made up for any initial confusion. Another great aspect was the location, with a lovely garden area for outdoor seating and the pub nestled in a quiet village.
The service was not up to par. Another reviewer received disappointing food, with one dish looking unappetising and another lacking in meat.

Room was a good value. Just a 10-minute walk to iron age gold coin hoard. Everything met needs.

The pub had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice decor. The location was convenient, being close to shops and restaurants. The pub also had a good selection of drinks, including a variety of beers and cocktails.
The food was not up to par. The menu sounded promising, but the execution fell short.
